Reiki is a beautiful, gentle and relaxing treatment but is incredibly powerful in helping you rebalance and realign, perfect for supporting you on your healing journey or as you navigate life transitions.
ㅤ
As well as general relaxation, Reiki can be used for all areas of your life including some of (but not limited too) the following physical and psychological problems:
Menopause symptoms ~ Depression ~ Anxiety ~ Stress ~ Fears ~ Phobias ~ Burnout ~ Insomnia ~ Smoking ~ Addictions ~ Trauma – Pain ~ Injuries
(old & new).
Reiki is wonderful at supporting you on your healing journey and during life transitions.
If you are feeling out of balance, then reiki gently and non invasively can bring you back into alignment, including balancing chakras.
For physical issues, general aches & pains, first aid, old injuries and more serious diagnosed illnesses, Jikiden reiki practitioners (which is the reiki I am attuned in) use the concept of Byosen (toxins within the body that cause illness, pain, discomfort) that block the natural flow of the body.
For most people 1 – 3 treatments is enough to help them, for others a course of treatments maybe needed,
or just desired because of it’s calming and balancing nature.
ㅤ
I am a Certified Jikiden reiki practitioner, I have also been attuned to the western reiki style and have been practicing with clients, since 2010.
ㅤ
I also incorporate crystals into my treatments for the relaxation and energy benefits they can add, if this feels aligned to you.
Client testimonial
“I went to see Katie as I was in a lot of pain in my knee.
I was overwhelmed with the result. After the first visit the pain was greatly reduced, I then went a couple of times after that and the pain was gone.
My husband who was a bit of a sceptic about this, had a bad back a few weeks later but after seeing my results went to see Katie.
He went for a couple of treatments and was so much better!
He then went on holiday for 10 days and his back became painful again after sitting in a car for 14 hours so Katie preformed a virtual/ distant treatment and once again he was so much better!
We highly recommend Katie, she really does work wonders!”

About the treatment;
Jikiden reiki is non-invasive and non-manipulative; you will be fully clothed for the treatment and covered by a warm blanket and traditional soft scarves to the head and feet.
I will then gently place my hands on you, usually starting at the head and then searching for Byosen. However if you come to me with a specific specific area you want treating, then treatment will be concentrated on this area.
You will also be offered the use of crystals during your treatment. These are selected by me, to assist in whatever area you have come to see me about. The will be gently placed on or around your body. Crystals emit a consistent and high frequency vibration, which can attune to us and the areas our body where we need balancing or raising the vibration.
These can be a beautiful and gentle addition to any treatment.
Jikiden Reiki Background:
Jikiden [in Japanese] simply means ‘directly passed down’, with reiki originating in Japan, Jikiden is as close as we have to the original practice of reiki, that was taught and practised by Usui Sensi (the founder) and Hayashi sensei, his pupil.
The teaching of Jikiden Reiki seminars was started in Japan by Chiyoko Yamaguchi and her son Tadao, who still teaches today. Chiyoko was taught by Hayashi Sensei, a pupil of the founder Usui Sensei and so she learnt the way reiki originally was in Japan, which differs somewhat from the western versions we may be familiar with. I was already attuned to Western Reiki, I have never looked back since, as I love the simplicity, intuitive practice and total effectiveness that is Jikiden.
For more information on the fascinating origin of Jikiden Reiki, please visit: http://www.jikidenreiki.co.uk
I trained as a Jikiden Reiki (Shoden & Okuden) Certified Practitioner UK Association back in 2011 with the amazing Amanda Jayne who learnt in Japan from direct descendants; and have been using it on myself, my family and clients ever since.

kind words
from people I have helped
“The work with Katie has been life changing, and believe me I do not say such bold statements unless it is 100% true.”
“Katie is amazing!”
“I have felt so, so unbelievably different, I have never felt like this before in terms of a deep feeling of knowing and truth inside of me, that I am now following.
I just feel in such a different place and I totally attribute that to the work I have done with you Katie. The embodiment work, the stepping into future Jo, it’s just been amazing, thank you so much.”
“I find Katie very comforting to be around and never feel judged, which as someone who judges themselves massively, this is so nice.”
“If you have been thinking ‘there must be more to life than this or what next?..’ then try out Katie’s Circles – your wellbeing will thank you for it!“”
“Katie holds space for those who need it and it is a really non judgemental, nourishing environment to attend. The spaces she uses are beautiful and cosy environments and she is always welcoming and friendly. The circles are well structured but each person is given the time and space they need. The circle and sound events are a whole new level of special.”
